Problem Statement:
Sports fans often want to recreate and wear the exact look that their favorite sports players are wearing but hunting for those items is not easy. GMDY decided to build an application that enables its users to shop the looks that their favorite players are sporting on the pitch.
Solution:
We built the application for GMDY that makes it easy as not only does it update users with the current looks from any game, but also maintains history of previous outfits that can bought from the app.
This was an exciting project to work on and we provided mobile, backend and API development services for the application. The product we delivered included a main sports feed with regular updates, calendar access to view game schedules and an e-store for sportswear. The users on app could also interact with other sports fan making it a social platform for sports lovers.
Result:
The application was a success among the sports lovers as it was one of a kind that brought all resources for shopping gear and top looks in one place while also building a community of the sports fans. The product was one of a kind that engaged the sports lovers as before this, none of the e-commerce apps focused on this segment of the market. With this application, individuals were able to shop the looks of their favorite sports persons with one single app instead of surfing through various e-commerce websites and putting together an outfit. This app is currently available on App Store for download.
